学校简介
英属哥伦比亚大学大学，是 BC 省政府于 1908年通过创立本省自己的大学条例后成立，于 1915年在现址建校，校园占地1000英亩，位于温哥华市最西端，由市中心开车约30分钟可达。
英属哥伦比亚大学共设有23所学院：文、理、应用科学(工)、商、农、法、医、药、牙医、复建、护理、音乐、新闻、图书、体育、教育、社工、建筑、森林、环境卫生、小区计划、研究生院、以及持续教育等。 百分之九十四的教授拥有 Ph.D. 学位，全校学生人数约为三万五千多，为BC省学生人数最多的大学。
学校特点
英属哥伦比亚大学（许多华人称为卑诗大学）的科研项目很突出，大学从政府、公司、非盈利组织每年吸引2个亿的资金。在加拿大，高中平均成绩在80分左右的学生才有资格申请。
